4. To optimize the efficacy of the numbing cream, securely cover it with plastic wrap, specifically Saran wrap, while ensuring that a warm environment is maintained underneath. This essential step facilitates the activation of the cream and prevents it from becoming desiccated.
5. Allow the numbing cream and accompanying wrap to remain in position for a period of 40-50 minutes before initiating the tattoo or laser treatment. Subsequently, remove the wrap, wipe away any excess cream, and patiently await an additional duration of 20 minutes. This timeframe allows for the attainment of the most effective numbing outcome.
6. Following the removal of the cream from the numbed skin, a brief interval of 10 minutes should be observed. It is important to note that the duration of numbness may differ based on individual skin type and the specific body part being treated, with a typical range of 2 to 4 hours.
